Case Study.  A Micro Medic retail client has several blind employees for whom checking item inventory levels or assigning bin locations was a major challenge. Micro Medic wrote a custom speech-enabled interface to "speak" the item information, opening a whole new path for blind employees to expand their contribution to their employer. The next version under development will also permit the operator to use voice commands, and the possibilities for other enhancements are wide open.
